課程概述

This course aims to familiarize students with advanced English used on and off campus. Students will be reading a selection of newspaper articles, short articles, and poems to enhance reading comprehension and build up vocabulary. Two hours per week will be for listening practices through which students will be acquainted with spoken English in various accents and on different topics. This semester we will more focus on news English and note-taking skills. Students will be encouraged to participate in class discussion, using internet resources to improve English.
